Infrastructure Delivery Plan

The Local Plan Update promotes “infrastructure first”.

The vast increase in population would require colossal changes to the infrastructure.

The roads are already congested and Junction 7 & 8 of the M3 are already very busy and dangerous.

No amount of public transport will provide adequate alternative to the huge increase in cars.

Where do the staff come from for the new doctors surgeries and schools, where there is already a shortage?

Will the new hospital be able to cater for the demands of the users, many will be ageing?

It seems the developers would be primarily responsible for funded the infrastructure. Is that aspirational or definite and realistic?

There are already problems with the supply of water and sewage in the area, this will be substantially compounded.
