Popham Airfield development

Dear Sir/Madam

I am writing to express my concern at the possible closure of Popham airfield for development.
The airfield is vital to general aviation. It offers a gateway to and from Europe as it has access for border force and customs clearance.

It accommodates businesses that will probably go out of business and aircraft that will disperse to other airfields causing even more concentrations at ever diminishing airfields else where.
The airfield is a well cared for large green area that offers biodiversity that will be obliterated by development.

Please keep this very popular airfield open.
