This policy only relates to the regeneration of residential locations. However, LPU Item 2.18 refers to employment areas ‘that are reaching the end of their functional life’.   There should be a policy that addresses (as SPS2 does) how the regeneration of the SEA’s will be undertaken and managed.  The references in SPS2 to the creation of Masterplans and design codes would be equally applicable to SEA’s.
